VEHICLE CATEGORIES

PRIVATE CAR

This permit can be used for either automatic or manual. However, currently there are no driving instructors with private manual vehicles.

A private car is insured and registered for private use only. Therefore, there is only a first time payment for registration and it doesn't have to be taken for inspection nor pay road tax yearly. To make the distinction, it does not carry a weight board nor a total passengers sticker.

LIGHT GOODS

This permit can be used for either automatic or manual.

A light goods vehicle is insured and registered for trade and there is a first time payment for registration. However, the vehicle must first pass inspection and this process has to be done yearly. The light goods vehicle carries a weight board a total passengers sticker.

A heavy goods vehicle (Truck) is insured and registered for trade and there is a first time payment for registration. However, the vehicle must first pass inspection and this process has to be done yearly. The heavy goods vehicle carries a weight board a total passengers sticker.
